Usage Information An MSDP mesh group is a mechanism for reducing SA flooding, typically in an intra-
domain setting. When some subset of a domain’s MSDP speakers are fully meshed, they
can be configured into a mesh-group. If member X of a mesh-group receives a SA
message from an MSDP peer that is also a member of the mesh-group, member X
accepts the SA message and forwards it to all of its peers that are not part of the mesh-
group. However, member X cannot forward the SA message to other members of the
mesh-group.
