Fuser lamp removal
CAUTION:
The fuser and the fuser lamp may be hot. You may need to allow them to cool
before handling them.
1.
Remove the fuser assembly. See
“Fuser assembly removal” on page 4-27
.
2.
Disconnect the fuser lamp AC cable from the right side of the top cover assembly.
3.
Remove the two screws (A) from the right side fuser lamp contact cover.
Warning:
Take care when removing the screw, as the lamp is under spring tension. When the contact is
released, damage to the lamp or contact may occur.
4.
Remove the left lamp contact assembly.
