Steps
1. In reverse sequential order (as indicated by the numbers on the heat sink), remove the screws that secure the heat sink to the system
board.
•
Heat sink for system boards with integrated graphics card: four screws (M2.5x6)
•
Heat sink for system boards with discrete graphics card: six screws (M2.5x6)
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.

Prerequisites
CAUTION:
Incorrect alignment of the heat sink can damage the system board and the processor.
NOTE:
If either the system board or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal pad or thermal paste provided in the kit to
ensure that there is thermal conductivity.
