Operating the sorter
An example of how the ID feature could be used
is as follows:
It is assumed that:
a. Sorter is operational.
b. Bagstops have been selected/set.
1. A vending company has five routes, and
each route goes to a different city. To mini-
mize explanations, we will discuss only the
first two routes.
2. The 5 vending machines of route #111 are
shown below.
3. The 4 machines of route #222 are shown
below.
4. The drivers have run their routes and re-
turned with several small bags of coin, one
for each machine.
5. It is now the operator’s job to process the
bags of money and retrieve a printed audit
trail of all transactions.
