Controlling
8.8.2.1 User-initiated flight modes
The aircraft can be controlled using the following user-initiated flight modes.
Home
The aircraft navigates through its waypoints in the direction of takeoff location. From the closest
waypoint the aircraft navigates in a straight line to the takeoff location.
• If current altitude is lower than 60m (197ft) above takeoff location, the aircraft climbs up to
60m (197ft) above takeoff location
• If current altitude is higher than 60m (197ft) above takeoff location, the aircraft keeps its
altitude to takeoff location and starts descending in circle until reaching 60 m (197 ft).

In case of mission abort (triggered by an Alarm 2, see section on alarms below), the aircraft finds an
optimized route to go back to the landing area (often crossing through the flight plan). When the
remaining distance to landing is less than 400 m, the aircraft goes straight to land. In such cases (of
mission abort), the user must double check that there are no obstacles in the vicinity. If necessary, it is
possible to use the
GoTo
mode to avoid any obstacles. It is highly recommended to set no-fly zones
around high obstacles in flight area.
