Executing a flight
8.1 Checking the environment

On the day of the flight, check the following at the flight location:
a)
Check the field for obstacles that could be a problem for takeoff or landing.
b)
Observe the current weather conditions, particularly the wind direction and wind speed.
c)
Evaluate the nature of the terrain (grass, sand, cement, rocky terrain, soft terrain, slopes…).
d)
Verify whether people are present in the area of the flight.

Decide whether the terrain is fit for safe takeoff, operation and landing.
8.2 Finishing the creation of the flight plan
In this procedure, some final settings are made which can only be done at the location of the flight.

Tap and drag the wind arrow to set the wind direction.
The flight plan is automatically rotated to stay perpendicular to the wind.

Landing strip
and adjust settings if required, then tap
DONE
.

Adjust waypoints by touching and dragging so that the trajectory entering and exiting the flight
plan is acceptable.

Check one last time that the parameters of the flight (duration, altitude, overlap) are correct
(reasonable area, reasonable flight time and number of pictures).

Note
This button is not enabled if:
• the duration of the flight plan is longer than 59 minutes.
• the flight plan intersects a no-fly zone or is partially outside the geofence area.
