4.3.2 Sync. check OK relay
If the Sync. check OK relay function is configured, then DEIF recommends that you test it.
DANGER!
You MUST complete all the previous commissioning steps.
To test the function:
1. Connect a synchroscope across the breaker.
2. Connect a light to the
Sync. check OK relay.
3. The breaker must be open.
4. There must be power on the busbar.
5. Start the genset.
6. Whenever the synchroscope shows that the busbar and generator are synchronised, the
Sync. check OK light should be
lit.
Troubleshooting
If the Sync. check OK light is not lit when the synchroscope shows that the busbar and generator are synchronised:
• Check that the light works.
• Check the synchroscope wiring.
• If a breaker
Close digital output is configured, check that the Configure > Parameters > Synchronisation > Settings > Type
> Sync. behaviour parameter is Sync. check (signal when in sync.) .
4.3.3 Breaker trip
When you are ready to close the breaker for the first time, DEIF recommends that you test the breaker trip.
