• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use while you are in contact with water.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Just pull the plug off.
• Keep the plate very smooth. Do not run it over metal objects (such as against the ironing board, buttons, zips, etc.)
• Do not drop or insert any objects into any opening.
• When the appliance is hot, grasp it only by the handle.
• Do not touch the heating plate when the device is in operation, as there is a risk of burns. Do not let bare skin or eyes touch heated
surfaces.
• When the appliance is in operation do not angle the heating plate near the eyes or ears.
• Never direct jets of steam at other people or animals.
• To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
• Always disconnect the appliance from electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying and when not in use.
• It is suggested to use distilled water. Do not use chemical additive, scented substances except from appropriate decalcifiers.
• The device should always be disconnected from the mains when not in use. Always switch OFF (position “O”) and unplug the
appliance if it is not in use and before filling with water or emptying, cleaning and storing it.
• Before disconnecting the device from the socket, set the On/off switch to “O” position.
• Please note that electrical parts are electrically live when the appliance is connected to the power supply, even when the On/off
switch is in “O” position.
• The device should be used only by adults.
• Keep the appliance away from children. Children must be under supervision when they are near the device.
• The device is not a game. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Always supervise the device when it is in use.
• The appliance should only be stored indoors in a dry place away from moisture and high or very low temperature and avoid direct
exposure under ultraviolet.
