Carefully remove your fan from its shipping container. (The shipping container can be reused
for off-season storage)
Ensure that the fan’s Power Control Switch is in the ‘OFF’ position [O]. Completely uncoil the
power cord, and connect your fan directly into a 120 Volt, grounded AC electrical outlet
Turn the Power Control Switch to the ‘OFF’ position [O].
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
Secure the power cord, and place your fan in its original shipping container, or a similar container.
Store the container in a cool, dry location.
Use a vacuum cleaner with a crevice tool to remove dust from the interior or your fan.
Use a clean, soft and lightly damp cloth to gently wipe the surface of the enclosure.
Allow the enclosure to dry completely prior to operating you fan.
To turn the fan on, press the power switch to the “ON” Position [1]. To turn the fan off, press the
power switch to the “OFF” Position [O]. To adjust the angle of the fan head, move the fan head to
the desired angle.

CAUTION:
Ensure that the plug fits tightly into the electrical outlet. A loose fit can
cause overheating and damage the plug.
NOTE: the power cord and the plug may feel warm during normal operation.
WARNING:
Do not expose any electrical parts or switches to water, cleaning liquids
or other chemicals, as fire, electrical shock, personal injury and property damage can
occur.
CAUTION:
Do not use gasoline, benzene or thinner to clean your fan, as these
chemicals! Can cause surface damage.
