• Using the previous procedure for the master unit, you now need to enter the ID
number for the master (0) on the keypad of the 480R and then hit enter.
• At this point, you will need to access the Utility menu of the master controller. To
do this from the front panel of the 480R, press the
UTILITY
button and the dis-
play will appear as follows:
• Pressing
PARAMETER 1
knob selects the utility menu of the
480R, while pressing the
PARAMETER 2
knob enters the utility
menu of the selected (in this case: Master), unit’s utility menu
where you will proceed to set IDs for networked units.
Controlling Remote Units:
In a DriveRack™ system, the entire system can be controlled by either the 480, 480R or the PC
GUI interface. The following information explains how to control other units within the
DriveRack™ system by a single unit.

- From program mode, press the
UTILITY
button and use the
PREV PG
and
NEXT PG
buttons to move to page one of the Utility menu. The fol-
lowing display will appear:
• Note that the reversed lit number or Mst in the top left-hand corner of the display indi-
cates the unit currently being controlled.
