1. What types of projects can be achieved with the DSPB
series? What do I need to get started?
Each example project in section 3 has a required items list to achieve each project, but this section
summarizes this information into one section.
A. DSPB Amplifiers Buying Guide / Examples
The thoughtful design of the DSPB series of amplifiers is that they will work together with the existing
KAB line of amplifiers. The synergy of this relationship allows you to add Bluetooth to your DSPB, and
DSP to your KAB. Depending on your design goals, you will need different items from the DSPB line and
the KAB line to achieve those goals. The DSPB-250 is 2x50 watts, and the DSPB-100 is 1x100 watts.
The table below summarizes the different configurations that are possible with the DSPB amplifier and
KAB amplifier line. Look for the type of configuration you want on the leftmost column, and then look to
see which items you can use to achieve this in the following columns. There is available an example
SigmaStudio project for each configuration. Note that you will need only 1 DSPB-ICP1 programmer
board to program any number of amplifiers or preamps from the DSPB series. It can be thought of like
the bridge between the DSPB amp/preamp and the computer. It will also require a Windows PC so you
can use SigmaStudio. See the examples sections for more specifics about how these devices need to be
programmed to achieve this.

Note 2: This table uses KAB-100M and KAB-250v3 as examples of mono and stereo KAB boards, but
previous and lower power versions of the KAB line are compatible with the DSPB series as well.
