Project examples using SigmaStudio
Warning: The PEQ filter used in the following project examples has a
bug that can cause damage to your tweeters or small speakers. To
avoid this bug, do not add new bands of EQ while your DSPB is
connected. If you must add new bands, disconnect your DSPB first! If
you add a new band while programming, it will cause a very loud
sound until you reprogram the device. This filter block otherwise
works fine and is safe for your speakers. This only applies to the
“PEQ” block.

Creating a basic SigmaStudio project for any product from the DSPB
series.
This is the tutorial to follow if you want to learn how to start from scratch building a SigmaStudio
project. If you would like to start out with a premade project, see the following sections for examples of
premade projects.
The simplest project you could create in Sigma Studio is a project that directly routs the inputs to the
outputs, but in this brief tutorial we will also add a master gain control. Please follow the ICP1
SigmaStudio connection guide and quick start guide for your specific DSPB (found in the previous
section) before following these instructions.
1.
Enter the “schematic” tab near the top of the screen.
This is assuming your hardware
configuration is already complete from the ICP1 connection to SigmaStudio guide.
2.
Find “Input” and “Output” under the IO folder in the Tree Toolbox ion the left side of y
our
screen. Drag 1 input and 2 outputs to the whitespace in the schematic tab.
