3.3.10 Installing the S/5 Recorder Upgrade, U-CMREC1
NOTE! Only S/5 Compact Anesthesia Monitor rev 02 or later and S/5 Compact Critical Care
Monitor rev. 02 or later can be upgraded with this S/5 Recorder Upgrade kit.
1. Turn the monitor off.
2. Disconnect the power cord.
3. Push “Service Reset” -button for at least 5 seconds until the service reset indicator LED turns off
(the fan should turn off).
4. Remove the plate that covers the recorder installation place in the side panel.
5. Open the recorder (by pressing the button on the right upper corner in the front of the recorder).
6. Insert the recorder from outside to the side panel (opening button upwards).
7. Attach the recorder to the side panel with two screws at the back of the recorder (the screws can
be accessed inside the the recorder).
8. Check that the recorder and the side panel are aligned and recorder tightly attached.

9. Attach the device plate to the back cover of the monitor, near the other device plates.
