Before First Time Use
Please ensure that you carefully follow each of the sections within this user guide to ensure the correct
usage of the Super Sports 3X with your games system.
Caution
Do not apply excessive force to turn the wheel beyond the limits of its rotation as this may result in
damage to the Super Sports 3X racing wheel.
Selecting a Suitable Location
Super Sports 3X racing wheel can either be mounted on a table or on your lap. Select a suitable
location ensuring that the cables can be arranged in a way to avoid people or pets from tripping over
them or damaging the equipment.
If you would like to mount the Super Sports 3X racing wheel on a table, use the suction pads located
on the underside of the Super Sports 3X racing wheel to securely fix it in position.
Connecting the Pedal Base
Position the pedal base in your preferred position and attach the cable located on the rear of the pedal
base to the connection located on the rear of the Super Sports 3X racing wheel.
When connecting the cable ensure that you orientate the cable correctly and when pushed inwards
ensure that it clips in position. To remove the pedal base pull the arm located on the connector
inwards and pull the connector outwards.
About Different Modes
Important Operating Information
Please read the following section regarding the different modes. If the Super Sports 3X is not set to the
correct mode it will not operate correctly with your games system and may report a connection error.
The Super Sports 3X is designed to operate in two modes which are indicated by the Mode Indicator
Light located in the centre of the Super Sports 3X racing wheel. The Super Sports 3X will remember
the set mode when disconnected until it is changed.
When you connect the Super Sports 3X to your games system the Mode Indicator Light will illuminate
to confirm the current set mode as detailed below:
• Green light: Indicates that the Super Sports 3X is set to Xbox 360 mode.
• Red light: Indicates that the Super Sports 3X is set to PS3 and PC mode.
Changing the Mode
If the Super Sports 3X is set to the incorrect mode, you can easily change the operating mode by
following the steps below:
1. Power on your games system
2. Press and hold the Mode button
located in the centre of the Super
Sports 3X racing wheel
3. Connect the Super Sports 3X to
your games system while still
keeping hold of the Mode Button
The Mode Indicator light will indicate
if the mode has being changed by displaying the correct coloured light (please refer to the section
‘About Different Modes’).
