4.7.7.1 Maintenance

FTP Client
The FTP Client is useful to “Get” a file into a unit from a remote server where using a remote client to
“Put” a file would be inconvenient, for example, when going through a firewall.

Ping Test
To aid in trouble-shooting IP connectivity issues, the Paragon3 base stations and the GeminiG3 radio-
modems can transmit ping packets to a given IP address. Four packets are sent and the time taken for each
to reach the destination and return is displayed.
