When viewing specific device details, you may modify the configuration of your
cradle. Click on “
Modify Settings
” to display the configuration windows.

General Settings
Device Name
A text string used to describe the
cradle. Any 16-character string can be
entered.
Port Name
A text string used to describe the
device docked to the cradle. Any
16-character string can be entered.
Custom String
A text string for any desired usage
(examples are: location, asset ID,
etc.). Any 16-character string can be
entered.
Require Admin
Privileges to
Modify
Settings
Selecting this option will require users
to have administrative privileges in
order to modify the cradle settings.
Administrative privileges are validated
using standard Windows
authentication.
