Optional: Linking the Reader to a PC
A reader can optionally be linked to a Bluetooth-enabled PC with the serial port profile.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the PC or terminal can network with Bluetooth devices and that it is powered on.
2. Scan the “Link to a PC” barcode below.
3. On the PC, scan for network devices.
4. Select the “Datalogic PBT7100 Reader.” Make sure “Secure Connection” is disabled.
5. Select “connect” on the PC to link the reader to the PC.
