STEP 2 - MOUNT AND POSITION THE READER
1. To mount the Matrix 120™, use the mounting brackets to obtain the most suitable
position for the reader. The most common mounting configuration is shown in the
figure below.

2. When mounting the Matrix 120™, take into consideration these three ideal label
position angles:
Pitch or Skew 10° to 20° and Tilt 0°
, although the reader can read
a code at any tilt angle provided the code fits into the Field Of View (FOV).

CAUTION
Do not connect GND and SGND to different (external) ground references.
GND and SGND are internally connected through filtering circuitry, which
can be permanently damaged if subjected to voltage drops over 0.8 Vdc.
