113: Close cover to continue
The cover is open or the print ribbon cartridge is missing.
Confirm that the print ribbon cartridge is installed and then close the cover.
Press the U
SER
button on the printer to clear the message. On the PC, click Retry, or click Cancel
to cancel the card.

Make sure that the ink ribbon and retransfer cartridges are installed properly.
All access doors must be closed to process cards. Unlock, open, and close all printer doors to
make sure they are closed completely.
Lock the system.
114: Cover opened during job
The printer cover was opened while printing.
Close the printer cover completely.
