Testing Single-Value Digital Output
To verify that the module can output a single digital output value, do the following:
1.
Connect a digital output to line 0 of the digital output port on the DT9850 Series module.
Refer to
for an example of how to connect a digital output.
2.
In the Quick DataAcq application, choose
Digital Output
from the
Control
menu.
3.
Select the appropriate DT9850 Series module from the
Board
list box.
4.
Select the digital output port by clicking
Port A
.
5.
Click the appropriate bits to select the digital output lines to write to. Optionally, you can
enter an output value in the Hex text box.
6.
Click
Send
.
The application displays the value of each digital output line of digital port A on the screen in both
text and graphical form.
