Verifying the Operation of a Module

43

Running the Quick DataAcq Application 

The Quick DataAcq application is installed automatically when you install the driver 
software. 

To run the Quick DataAcq

 

application, do the following: 

1.

If you have not already done so, power up your computer and any attached peripherals.

2.

Click 

Start 

from the Task Bar.

3.

Browse to 

Programs

|

Data Translation, Inc| DT-Open Layers for 

Win32|QuickDataAcq

.

The main menu appears.

Note:

The Quick DataAcq application allows you to verify basic operations of the module; 

however, it may not support all of the module’s features.

For information on each of the features provided, use the online help for the Quick DataAcq 
application by pressing F1 from any view or selecting the 

Help

 menu. If the system has 

trouble finding the help file, navigate to C:\Program Files\Data Translation\Win32\
dtdataacq.hlp, where C: is the letter of your hard disk drive.
