Speaker Wiring

To achieve maximum performance from the speaker, it is recommended to use good quality CL2 or CL3
rated speaker cable. For distances greater than 20 m, use a 2,5 mm² cable. For shorter distances,
a 1,5 mm² or 0,75 mm² cable is sufficient.

Make sure the cable meets any local or national regulations.

Use the following cables:

D9201

 – SPK-275 stage speaker cable 2 x 0,75 mm² 100 m spool

D9201B

 – SPK-275 stage speaker cable 2 x 0,75 mm² 100 m spool, black

D9202

 – SPK-215 stage speaker cable 2 x 1,5 mm² 100 m spool

D9202B

 – SPK-215 stage speaker cable 2 x 1,5 mm² 100 m spool, black

D9203

 – SPC-225 stage speaker cable 2 x 2,5 mm² 100 m spool

D9203B

 – SPC-225 stage speaker cable 2 x 2,5 mm² 100 m spool, black

D9204

Depending on the desired output, you can choose which wires of the speaker to connect to the speaker
cable.

For 100 V speaker systems:

red = 10 W, white = 5 W, black = common

Note: Make sure the speaker connection polarity is correct. Always connect positive to positive and
negative to negative. In order to provide the best possible sound, all speakers in a system need to be
wired with the same polarity. If the connections to one speaker in a system are reversed, this will result in
loss of the low frequencies and will affect the overall performance of the system.
