Initial calibration
In order to obtain the correct ventilation comfort level, as well as managing humidity level,
it’s important to adjust the amount of ventilation air going in to the house, as well as extract-
ing from the house .
This is done by adjusting the fan speed levels in nominal mode, that is equal to fan speed
three .
Fan speed four is an operation boost level, only active for 6 hours .
After boost the unit switch will return to previously used fan speed
The unit can be adjusted by means of the PC tool, or using the keypad on the front .
In both options the air flows needs to be calibrated by measuring the delta pressure over the
heat exchanger, by using the pressure nozzels behind the front cover .
Dantherm recommend using a handheld manometer such as Testo 510 or similar (see how to
calibrate the mamometer on page 23) .
Follow these few steps described in the table in order to calibrate the units fan speed .

• Bypass (Automatic / manual)
• Summer mode

Step Action
1
Press and hold (5 sec .) the fan button (B) and weekly program (D) until both
LED lights are flashing . The fan speed will now change to speed 3 .
The unit is now in “installer mode” .
2
Connect the differential pressure gauge to the valves directed to supply, as
shown on the label on the heat exchanger’s cover panel (P1 -> P2)
3
Adjust the supply air to a suitable level in relation to the current
ventilation needs by pressing and holding down the bypass switch (A) and adjusting
up (D) or down (B) until the correct level is measured . Note the values
on the label on the unit .
4
Uncap P1 and P2 and connect the differential pressure gauge to the valves
directed to extracted air (P3 -> P4)
5
Adjust the extracted air to a suitable level in relation to the current
ventilation needs . Press and hold the alarm reset (E) and adjust up (D) or down
(B) until the correct level is measured . Note the values on the label on the unit .
6
Press and hold down the switches for fan (B) and weekly program (D) until the
LED has stopped flashing . The unit is now calibrated .
Pour 0,5 L water into the siphon, to prevent leakage from the drain prior to calibration .
