Fault finding
Use this table to identify and remedy a problem or fault:

Check that the power ca-
ble is correctly connected
to power source and unit.

nected, check the branch

If a hygrostat is connected

The setpoint value of the
hygrostat is too high
Reduce setpoint value. If
the dehumidifier does not
operate, remove the hy-
grostat. If the dehumidifier
now operates, it means
that the hygrostat is defec-
tive

Dehumidifier does not
operate

Green control lamp
illuminates
Room temperature is be-
low 3 °C/37.4 °F and the
dehumidifier is automati-
cally put out of operation
Wait for the temperature to
rise above 3 °C/37.4 °F

the high-pressure side of
the cooling system is too

Check the filter and dehu-
midifier for accumulation of
dirt.
Check that the fan is work-

Note
•
Shut the dehumidifier down immediately, if it is not operating correctly!
•
Wait one minute before starting to locate the fault as the electronic equipment may
have switched off the dehumidifier for safety reasons
Further help
Contact a Dantherm Air Handling dealer if the dehumidifier does not start again. This is
also applicable when the dehumidifier is operating without extracting water which is
probably a defect in the cooling circuit. Contact a service technician to remedy the de-
fect.
