3. Ensure that no residue remains on the contact surfaces of the Mains Input Cover and casting sides.
4. Place the Mains Input Cover and secure it with the M5x15 fasteners. Tighten according to the sequence
show in Figure 4-7 Mains Input Cover Torque Sequence on page 53.
5. Follow the sequence twice. The first time, only tighten the fasteners halfway down to allow for
adjustment. Torque to 13 in.lb. on the second pass. Tighten the # 4 fastener only once and use caution
as to not overtighten.
6. Return the compressor to normal operation.
4.1.3 Service Side Cover
The Service Side Cover provides protection for the Backplane, Serial Driver, BMCC, PWM, feedthroughs, and cabling.
