Cleaning and greasing the spindle
After 700 operating hours (at the latest after 18 months), the worm gear screw jack has
to be cleaned.
In order to do this:
1.
Loosen the two threaded pins at the bearing cover.
2.
Unscrew the lifting screw (if necessary remove the screw protection).
3.
Unscrew the bearing cover (fastened with Loctite).
4.
Clean out the old grease.
5.
Replace with fresh grease.
6.
Fit the bearing cover firmly (10 times the torque: see table).
7.
Again, loosen the bearing cover.
8.
Fit the bearing cover (fasten with Loctite; fastening torque: see table chapter 6.3).
While fitting the bearing cover, check the axial backlash and smooth running.
