AKING CONNECTIONS TO TERMINAL POSTS
Ring lugs for motor and battery connections must be properly rated to carry motor and battery
currents; otherwise, overheating will occur. Crimp ring lugs onto the motor wires, then secure the
lugs to terminal posts using bolts (M8 x 25 pos. no 1 and pos 7 in
Figure 14 ) and lock washers
and washers if necessary. (For L, see Figure 12 and used bolt pos. no 7 in Figure 14 ).
If L is
•
≤ 5mm a shorter bolt (20 mm) must be used.
•
11-15 mm a longer bolt (30 mm) must be used.
