General Information
PACCAR vehicle
The PACCAR vehicle is driven by an electric
powertrain. High voltage batteries supply all onboard
systems.
Various electrical systems are installed on the
vehicle. These systems are interconnected by
means of low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV)
electrical networks, CAN buses, and hydraulic,
pneumatic, and coolant piping.
The vehicle produces its own hydraulic and
pneumatic energy onboard as needed.

Diagnostics
The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) provides self-
diagnosis during operation. If the system detects a
problem, it will display an error message on the
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to notify the driver.
These error messages are the primary information
source to troubleshoot function losses on the
vehicle.
Operational Data
The HMI is also able to display a variety of key
operating parameters for vehicle systems and
components such as voltage, temperature, and
power usage. These data can provide useful
information for troubleshooting.
