F0139 - Potential High Voltage Hazard! ePTO HVIL Fault
Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
ePTO has reported a discontinuity
in the HVIL.
1) HV connector unplugged.
2) Defective HV connector or
harness.
3) Analog HVIL fault.
1) Plug in HV connector.
2) Replace HV harness.
3) Troubleshoot specific error.
The purpose of the HVIL is to provide a warning if
any HV connector is unplugged without the HV
distribution being safely ended. The ePTO monitors
continuity between the HVIL pins on its HV
connector (C722). If this connector is unplugged
unsafely, the HVIL will be broken and the ePTO will
send an error message via CAN.
Depending on the ePTO configuration, the ePTO HV
connector (C722) may also be connected to the
analog HVIL. This a single circuit that runs through
various HV connectors on the vehicle. If a connector
is unplugged, the HVIL will be broken and the VCU
will detect the loss of signal voltage on the circuit. If
the analog HVIL is broken, one or more of the errors
F0061, F0062, or F0063 will be raised.
Note:
Connectors may vary from what is
shown depending on ePTO configuration.
