Telemetry No Contact OR Fleet owner is receiving empty telemetry data files
Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
VCU has not received any CAN
message from the telemetry
module within a specified time
interval.
1) CAN communication problem.
2) LV distribution fault.
3) Blown 12V fuse F14.
4) Blown MPDM fuse F14.
5) Loss of continuity due to
defective LV connector or
harness.
6) Defective timed relay 2.
1) Resolve CAN communication
problem.
2) Troubleshoot specific error.
3) Replace 12V fuse F14.
4) Replace MPDM fuse F14.
5) Replace LV connector or
harness per Service Manual.
6) Replace timed relay 2.
No Contact fault messages appear on the HMI
display and remain while the fault is active.
Historical No Contact fault messages can be found
in the HMI logs by selecting the MC43[2]log.
