Troubleshooting 

F0141 - Low A/C refrigerant pressure 

Error Description 

Possible Causes 

Possible Solutions 

The VCU has detected low 

refrigerant pressure in the air 

conditioner. 

1)  A/C compressor fault. 

2)  Leak or low refrigerant level. 

3)  Pressure sensor failure. 

4)  Defective wiring to pressure 

sensor. 

 

1)  Troubleshoot specific error. 

2)  Repair and/or recharge A/C 

system. 

3)  Replace pressure sensor. 

4)  Replace LV connector or 

harness per Service Manual. 

 

This error indicates that the VCU has detected 

that the refrigerant pressure in the air conditioner 

is lower than expected. The refrigerant pressure is 

measured by a dedicated pressure sensor wired 

directly to the VCU.
