Troubleshooting

F0102 - Downhill braking reduced! Apply brakes as needed.

Error Description

Normal level of regenerative

braking is not available while

cruise control is active.

This is a warning message for the driver indicating

that the normal level of regenerative braking is not

available while cruise control is active. The driver

therefore may need to use the air brakes to slow the

vehicle.

Regenerative braking will be reduced if the state of

charge (SOC) of the high voltage batteries is close to

100% or if a limitation is requested by the BMS or

traction inverter for various other reasons.

This message may be raised due to adverse driving

conditions such as a prolonged downhill. It does not

necessarily indicate a problem with the vehicle.
