Troubleshooting

F0100 (Fault Reason 3)

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

Traction inverter has detected an

unplugged connector on the

traction inverter LV side.

1) Connector C3 on the traction

inverter is unplugged.

2) Loss of continuity due to

defective LV connector.

3) Traction inverter internal

failure.

1) Plug in connector C3.

2) Replace harness.

3) Replace traction inverter.

The Traction inverter has its own internal interlock

system which detects if a connector on the motor or

traction inverter is unplugged. If a discontinuity is

detected between the traction inverter and motor, the

traction inverter raises fault reason 2. If a

discontinuity is detected on the traction inverter LV

side, the traction inverter raises fault reason 3.

Propulsion System faults may also be

investigated and resolved using the ODIN

tool and the TM4 SUMO Powertrain
