8.7 Activating SmartFinder function
With the SmartFinder (SF) search function you can search for
changes in any picture area. Please see the operating instructions
for additional information on using this search function.
For this search function to be available to the user, the following
settings must be made:
1. The corresponding camera has to be activated for the SF
(SmartFinder) function in the Camera settings dialog.
2. The option Object coordinates has to be activated under
Setup > Recording > Search criteria.
1 Activating camera for SmartFinder

Click in the Camera settings dialog in the SF column on the
field for the camera you want to activate SF for.
2 Activating object coordinates as search criterion

Activate the checkbox for the Object coordinates option in the
Search Items dialog.
