Appropriate Use
The DDF5(X)50HDV-DN-SM (surface mount variant) is a HD network camera that is
built into a vandal-resistant (IK10) dome enclosure.
The device is primarily designed for indoor surface mount installations on
ceilings and walls and can be operated with Power over Ethernet (PoE, Class 0,
IEEE 802.3af) or optionally powered by an external 24 V DC power supply unit.

Damage to the device caused by improper installation in outdoor
environments
The device is primarily designed for indoor use.
The installation of the device in outdoor environments may result
in malfunctions, damage, data loss and loss of warranty and is
not permitted unless the following requirements/instructions are
complied with:
