13. .On the tHost™ main page select “Net Config” button. The Network Configuration screen will appear.
Enter the following network configuration parameters:
a. Select the static or dynamic button: If there is a third party DHCP server on the network that will
be providing an IP address to the
tHost™
then choose dynamic. If not, then choose static and
enter the following parameters as provided by the network administrator.
i. IP Address: This is the remote address of the
tHost™
ii. Network Mask
iii. Default Route
b. Set the SNMP server address. This is the IP of the device that will receive the SNMP traps
14. Click on “Set” button to implement the changes.
5.2.4 Remote Access
Access to the web interface is available through the “Remote” port at the address defined above.
When configured via DHCP, the
tHost™ can also be located by entering a unique name into the web browser.
Record the last five digits of the serial number marked on the back panel of the
tHost™
. Use those digits to form
an address as follows: http://DW-xxxxx.local . For example, if the last five digits are CC0BB then the address would
be: http://DW-CC0BB.local . When providing access from a remote location, through the firewall, direct TCP port
80 to the tHost™ . For maintenance activities provided by Dali Wireless, provide access to TCP port 22 on the
tHost™
.
