8. Connect laptop to the “Local” port on the
tHost™
or the “Ethernet” port on the

, using CAT-5 cable
with RJ45 connectors (cross-over cable not required). Note that the laptop will be assigned an address
within the private IP range described above.
9. Power-up
tHost™
and
t43™
s and allow them to boot-up.
10. Open-up a web browser and browse to
to access the
tHost™
embedded web server.
11. A GUI screen with user name and password request appears. The user name is “admin” and the default
password is “transcend”.
12. When the login is finished the opening screen shows up. From the Function Explorer Tree on the left select
the
tHost™
unit. The tHost™ main page will appear. Proceed with Network Configuration.
