7.2  Fiber Connector Cleaning Procedure 

Use specially formulated solutions and lint-free wipes during cleaning process. Implement “wet to dry” process. 

1.  Apply a solvent to a small spot at the starting edge of a wipe.  
2.  Holding the end-face of the optical connector perpendicularly to the wipe, slide the end-face from the wet 

spot to the dry zone. 

Note: Avoid use of canned air since is ineffective on oils, residues, or small static charged particles.
