Behaviour of the external alarm
The reaction of the
U•H1
control unit to a change of state
on the “
External Alarm
” input can be
configured as follows:
-
Disabled
: a change of
the input’s state
will have no effect,
-
Addresses the level 1 alarm
("
Set alarm level 1
")
:
a change of
the input’s state
activates the
level 1 alarm of the
U•H1
control unit,
-
Addresses the level 2 alarm
("
Set alarm level 2
")
:
a change of
the input’s state
activates the
level 2 alarm of the
U•H1
control unit.
-
Addresses both alarm levels
("
Set alarm levels 1&2
")
:
a change of
the input’s state
activates
the levels 1 and 2 of the alarm of the
U•H1
control unit.

Normal state of the external alarm
The external alarm, when it is active, is triggered by a change of state on the U•H
1 control unit which is
dedicated to the external alarm’s connection. This configuration element specifies the state of this input
at rest and, as a result, the nature of the state change which triggers the alarm.
The possible states are as follows:
•
“
normally closed
”: at rest, the circuit connected to the input is closed. The external alarm is
thus activated when the circuit is opened.
•
“
normally opened
”: at rest, the circuit connected to the input is open. The external alarm is
activated when the circuit is closed.
•
Errors reset mode
The
U•H1
Control Unit
has an internal fault management. Once detected, any abnormal operation of the
U•H1
Control Unit
or
D•TEX 3F+
detector is notified by an action on the relay signaling the technical
defect.
The mode to reset a technical fault specifies how it is reset:
-
as standard, the
U•H1
Control Unit is configured for automatic reset.

Note:
This mode does not apply to level-2 alarms.
