5.23 Current Leakage Detection

Method of Error
Detection
Current leakage is detected in the earth leakage detection circuit. Error is detected on the
outdoor unit main PCB.

Conditions
When leakage current is detected.
Supposed
Causes
 Earth fault
 Defective wiring with the current sensor
 Temporary liquid back or refrigerant stagnation
Troubleshooting
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
Correct the wiring.
Normal
(Keep operating)
It is possibly caused by
temporary oil return or
refrigerant stagnation.
(Perform maintenance
during long-term
shutdown such as a
power outage.)

connection to the
current sensor (T1A) is
correctly wired.
