5.19  Indoor Unit PCB Abnormality

Error Code

C6-05

Method of Error 
Detection

This error is detected by checking the current sensor value.

Error Decision 
Conditions

When an abnormal signal is detected at the start of operation of the fan motor.

Supposed 
Causes

Disconnection of the connector of the fan motor lead wire

Defective fan motor (Broken wires or defective insulation)

Defective PCB (A1P)

Troubleshooting

Replace the fan motor.

Resistances 

between UVW phases of 

the fan motor are imbalanced, or 

there is a short circuit 

between UVW.

Is the fan 

motor connector (X901A) 

connected properly?

YES

Properly connect the connector.

Replace the indoor unit PCB 
(A1P).

NO

YES

NO

Turn OFF the power supply, and then 
wait for a period of 10 minutes.

Caution

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting 
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
