2.6 Setting of Low Noise Operation and Demand Operation
Setting of Low Noise Operation
By connecting the external contact input to the low noise input of the external control adaptor for outdoor unit
(optional), you can lower operating noise by 2-3 dB.
When the low noise operation is automatically carried out at night (The external control adaptor for
outdoor unit is not required)
1. While in setting mode 2, select a night-time low noise level for the item 2-22.
2. If necessary, while in setting mode 2, select a starting time of night-time low noise operation for the item 2-26.
(Use the starting time as a guide since it is estimated according to outdoor temperatures.)
3. If necessary, while in setting mode 2, select an ending time of night-time low noise operation for the item 2-27.
(Use the ending time as a guide since it is estimated according to outdoor temperatures.)
4. If necessary, while in setting mode 2, set the item 2-29 (Capacity precedence) to ON.
(If the condition is set to ON, when the air-conditioning load reaches a high level, the system enters to normal
operation mode even during night-time.)
