Switching off the unit
CAUTION
Drain the unit and the installation, if the mains
electricity supply is interrupted and there is a risk of
freezing.
1.
Remove the plug from the socket.
2.
Drain the unit with the filling/draining tap.
3.
Drain the installation at the lowest point.
4.
Shut the main tap for the water supply from the hot water section.
5.
Drain the unit by loosening the domestic hot water couplings under the unit.
6.
Empty the siphon.
6.3.1
Frost protection

In order to prevent the condense outlet from freezing, the unit must be installed in a
frost-free room.
•
The unit is fitted with frost protection in order to prevent it from freezing. If the
temperature of the heat exchanger drops too low, the pump will start running until
the heat exchanger has warmed up sufficiently. If there is a risk of the installation
(or a part thereof) freezing, the coldest place should be fitted with an (external)
frost thermostat on the return pipe. This must be connected in accordance with the
wiring diagram (see par. 10.2).
Note
If an (external) frost thermostat has been fitted on the installation and has been
connected to the unit, it will not be active if the unit on the operating panel is switched
off (
-
on service
display).
