6.3 Welding JOB
This section explains basic welding JOB with useful functions.
6.3.1
Basic welding JOB
This section explains the basic welding JOB. To carry out the welding operation, the followings should be considered:

Plate thickness and materials of welding material
•
Type and flow rate of shield gas
•
Wire type and wire diameter, and welding process (type of welding)
•
Welding current and welding voltage

Useful functions
This section explains the useful functions for the welding power source.
•
Registration of welding JOB (
Memory Function of Welding JOB)
Using the memory function of the welding condition enables to register the welding current/voltage, shield gas type,
and wire type/wire diameter currently set, and reads them out for use.
•
Synergic adjustment of voltage (
-
Using the Synergic menu enables to automatically set the welding voltage according to the welding current. Fine
adjustment of the welding voltage automatically set is also available.
•
Penetration control (
Penetration control adjustment)
Using the penetration control function can automatically adjust the wire feed speed so that the constant welding
current is always kept even with the wire feeding length changes. (Available only for steel or stainless steel type wire
in the WIRE MATERIALS menu.
•
Welding current adjustment by torch switch (
Using the internal function (F48) enables to increase or decrease the welding current set by the torch switch operation.
(Available only with the 4T is selected and with welding condition)
