The HDD detect function is to detect HDD current status so that you can clearly
understand the HDD performance and replace the malfunction HDD.
4.15.5.1 Detect
Step 1 From main menu->Setting->Storage->HDD Detect->Detect.
Enter detect interface. See Figure 4-199.

Step 2 Select detect type and HDD.

Key area detection: It is to detect the storage files in the key area on the
HDD.

Full detection: It is to scan whole HDD. It may take a long time and may
affect the HDD that is saving record file. If there is bad track, the HDD may
have error.
Step 3 Click Start detect to begin.
Interface displays corresponding detection information.
4.15.5.2 Report
After the detection operation, go to the detect report to view corresponding information.
Step 1 From main menu->Setting->Storage->HDD Detect->Report.
The report interface is shown as below. See Figure 4-200.
