During exposure, the operator must keep a minimum
distance of 2m from the patient’s head or stand
behind a physical barrier.
Install the equipment in an appropriate site which
is protected from sunlight and humidity.
Unplug the equipment or turn off the clinic’s
general switch when it is not used for long
periods of time.

This equipment is meant for dental use only
and must be operated by qualified personnel
according to instructions in this Manual.
In case the recommendations and precautions
concerning this equipment are not observed, side
effects may affect its operators and patients due
to the presence of ionizing radiation.
Do not use the equipment without a locating
cylinder.
Keep the largest practicable distance between
the end of the locating cylinder and the patient’s
surface so that the absorbed radiation can be the
least possible.
Special handling precautions for the
movable column version
While handling you x-ray equipment, take special
care with regard to the movable parts indicated by
arrows in fig. H so as not to squeeze your fingers.
Points to be observed prior to the
first load application
Make sure that all the items concerning operation
instructions have been completed.
• Operation (Seletronic)
• Operation (Eletronic)
Method used for measuring the
X-ray tube voltage
Measurement is made directly in the high-voltage
circuit by connecting a peak reading voltmeter
between the tube anode and cathode by means of
a resistive divider.
Method used for measuring the
X-ray tube current
Measurement is made in the rectified high-voltage
circuit. A continuous-current amperemeter is
placed in series with the high-voltage transformer’s
secondary and ampoule, where the reading of the
mean-value current is made.
Procedure in case equipment
functioning is altered
In case the equipment presents any faults, firstly check
whether they are listed under “Troubleshooting”. If
the problem cannot be solved, turn off the equipment,
unplug it from the power source outlet and call for
Dabi Atlante Authorized Technical Assistance.
Sensitivity to predictable
environmental conditions in normal
working situations
This equipment is not sensitive to magnetic, electric
and electrostatic or pressure interferences as long
as the cleaning, maintenance, transportation and
operation recommendations found in this manual
are observed.
Procedures in case of equipment
disposal
When the equipment is put out of use, it must be
disposed of at an appropriate site (according to local
regulations), thus preventing its inadequate use and
environmental contamination.
Transportation and storage
conditions
The equipment must be transported and stored:
•
Carefully in order to prevent falls and
impact.
•
By keeping the side indicated by the arrow
facing upwards.
•
By observing maximum piling limits as
indicated on the packaging.
•
Protected against moisture, rain, water
sprinkling and wet ground.
After installation
