MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance activities must not be carried out by children (under 8 years of age) without supervision by a
qualified adult. Before starting any work on the system, before starting to look for faults it is necessary to disconnect the
power supply to the pump (take the plug out of the socket).

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Cause
Solution
The pump’s motor does not
start or stops suddenly after a
few seconds.
-
No power supply.
-
The thermal-amperometric motor protector
has deactivated the pump due to overload.
-
Solid particles have obstructed the suction
filter.
-
Check the electrical connections.
-
Unplug the pump and clean it (see section
6.1. Precautions and Cleaning).
Check
the
water
temperature
(max. 35° C).
-
Unplug the pump and clean it (see section
6.1. Precautions and Cleaning).
The pump is running but no
water is being delivered.
-
The pump is not sufficiently submerged.
-
Clogged suction filter.
-
There is no outflow of air because the
delivery pipe is obstructed (it may be
throttled).
-
Lower the pump deeper in the water.
-
Unplug the pump and clean it (see section
6.1. Precautions and Cleaning).
-
Remove obstructions from delivery pipe.
The flow rate is insufficient.
-
Clogged suction filter.
-
Diameter of external pipe is too small.
-
Too high head.
-
Unplug the pump and clean it (see section
6.1. Precautions and Cleaning).
-
Use a larger diameter pipe.
-
Reduce the head.
The pump is running but the
delivery is suddenly reduced.
-
Clogged suction filter.
-
Unplug the pump and clean it (see section 6.1.
Precautions and Cleaning).
