7.0 Troubleshooting
Verify that Terminal Setup (baud, flow control, etc.) configuration is correct as detailed in
5.0
Configuring Your PC.
Table 9 (below) describes common problems and fixes for the TDA3x Product Family. For other
problems or questions about the hardware, contact D3 Engineering.
Problem Possible Solution(s)
No Boot a) Verify that the Power Polarity is correct.
b) Verify that Micro USB Serial cable is properly
plugged in to the PC and the TDA3x system
c) Verify that the SD Card is fully seated in the
slot.
d) Verify correct contents on SD Card. Please
refer to
Figure. 7 SD Card Contents
e) Verify PC is On .
No Image a) Verify that the FAKRA Camera Connections are
fully seated to cameras and to the RVP-TDA3x.
b) Verify that the HDMI connection to Display
has been properly connected.
c) Verify that Display Power is on.
d) Verify that the lens cap has been removed.
Nothing Visible in Serial
Terminal a) Verify that the correct drivers have been
installed.
b) Verify that Tera Term is running
c) Verify that you have selected the correct COM
Port in Tera Term. Please refer to
Section 5.0
Configuring Your PC.
d) Verify that Micro USB Serial cable is properly
plugged in to the PC and the TDA3x system
