Port 0
How to treat TCP/UDP packets with destination port 0 and TCP packets with source port 0.
Default:
DropLog
Watchdog Time
Number of non-responsive seconds before watchdog is triggered (0=disable).
Default:

Flood Reboot Time
As a final way out, NetDefendOS automatically reboots if its buffers have been flooded for a long
time. This setting specifies the amount of time the buffers are flooded before the reboot occurs.
Default:
3600
Dynamic High Buffers
This setting decides if NetDefendOS will automatically specify the High Buffers value. The default
value is
3% of total available memory, with a lower limit of 1024
Note that in addition to this there is always an extra 512 Kbytes allocated for buffers.
This setting requires a NetDefendOS restart for a new value to take effect. A reconfiguration is
not sufficient.
Default:
Enabled
High Buffers
If Dynamic High Buffers is not enabled then this number of buffers will be allocated in RAM
above the 1 MByte limit. When troubleshooting problems, raising this value can sometimes
provide a solution.
This setting requires a NetDefendOS restart, for example using the
shutdown
command, for a
new value to take effect. A reconfiguration is not sufficient.
Default:
1024
Important: Setting high buffers is not recommended
Enabling the setting
Dynamic High Buffers
is recommended for most configurations.
Rarely, NetDefendOS support personnel might recommend disabling it and specifying a
