VoIP
VoIP Provider
VoIP Provider:
Select your VoIP provider from the list. If your provider isn't listed,
select
Other
to enter the settings manually. Be sure to have your ISP's
settings on-hand when you configure this information.
Local Port
Local Port:
Specify the local SIP initiation port. The default port is 5060.
Main Configuration
Register Server:
Enter the IP address or domain name of the primary VoIP registration
server. This information should be provided by your VoIP provider.
Proxy:
If your VoIP provider uses a proxy server, enter it here.
Outbound Server:
If your VoIP provider uses an outbound proxy server, enter it here.
Port:
Enter the port number provided by your VoIP provider. The default
port used by SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is 5060. Note that the
external port may be different from the local port used in the previous
section.
Backup
Configuration:
Click this button if you wish to input backup parameters.
Backup Register
Server:
Enter the IP address or domain name of the backup VoIP registration
server. This information should be provided by your VoIP provider.
Backup Outbound
Server
If your backup VoIP provider uses an outbound proxy server, enter
it here.
This section will allow you to configure VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) to make calls over
the Internet. Your ISP or VoIP service should provide you with this information.
